About.
Matt Moate is a London-based designer. His small hybrid practice focuses on both self-initiated art projects and commissioned design work.

Bio.
Matt studied at Cambridge School of Art, the University of Brighton and the Royal College of Art. On graduating, he contributed to a number of international style publications including The Face, Trace, Flux and Oyster. He served on the design staff at Gaia Books in London before co-founding Underbelly Film in 1997. In 2000 he joined Hodges Associates, where as senior designer he worked for many international clients and brands including Reuters, Range Rover and British Airways. As an original contributor to onedotzero at London’s ICA, onedottv on Channel 4, and You Wear it Well in Hollywood, Matt’s motion graphics and fashion films have been broadcast and screened around the world.

Matt's recent clients include Nike, YKK, Karine Jackson, Islington Council, Rodnik/iqonsTV and Kei Kagami, and he has worked on projects and design schemes for the National Theatre, Universal Music, The Barbican, The Science Museum, The Law Society, illy and Hewlett Packard.
